Levan studied at the coaching faculty of the Georgian State Academy of Physical Education and Sport from 1999 to 2003.

He is an International Master of Sport, a multiple world champion and medallist, and a European champion and medallist in bench press.

He is President of the Tbilisi Athleticism Federation, head coach of the Georgian youth bench press team and head coach of the Georgian girls’ under-19 team.

He won at the World Police and Fire Games in 2017, 2023 and 2025.
